Stouwie Family Fire Assistance

I’m creating this account for the Stouwie family, Rich and Natasha.  Natasha, my other mom and her family have lived at the top of Mix Canyon for as long as I can remember. Natasha has been one of my moms best friend since I was little so she’s basically a second mom to me, my siblings and another grandmother for my son. Natasha and her family are the kindest people and would give you the shirt off their backs to anyone in need.  They are always willing to help and when I’m in a bind I know I could call them without hesitation they would be there. Even when Natasha isn’t feeling her best she without a doubt would drop whatever she was doing if I called. Natasha worked for years as a care taker and at local elementary schools until recently when her lupus began flaring up.  Her husband Rich is a carpenter who works in the Bay Area. Their son Cody lived with them as well he also works in the Bay Area. Living at the top of mix canyon has been a roller coaster to say the least. Yes they enjoyed beautiful property but every year they had the stress of fires and being evacuated. They had made it through many years of close calls but never any huge loss. Natasha tried for years to get some sort of fire insurance but given the location and the liability NO company would insure them. If you know Natasha the woman is persistent and dedicated to say the least and if she couldn’t get a company to insure her it was truly impossible.  So this is a huge loss for them. They made it out safely with their animals but literally every belonging they had is gone. The house is a complete loss. They lost two cars as well. I would love to lessen the burden they have to experience so any donation would be fantastic. There aren’t better people out there I vouch for that.
