On December 9, Joe suffered a stroke. He was in the hospital for a week before coming home to start his journey of rehab. While in the ICU, Katie received a text from Joe's boss informing them that Joe was laid off of work.
The Stotkos are a family that look on the bright side of things. They are very thankful that Joe's health is on the mend. They are very thankful that their girls are cooperative with their new family situation.
Katie's co-workers felt the need to take action. Though Katie did not ask for help, we want to give it...the highest needs are prayer and cash.
While I don't know which insurance plan the Stotko's have selected, I know the common insurance plans at our work have a deductible of $6,000. And, I'm guessing that the Stotkos will dip well into that deductible both in 2017 and 2018 given the timing of the year with Joe's health issue. So, every bit helps, but the goal of $6000 would be amazing.
