Stormy’s Story

Hafa Adai to all.

First and foremost,

My parents, my family and I extend our most sincerest gratitude to everyone who visited our
GoFundMe page for our Stormy Girl!

Stormy is our 5 year old Cavapoo.

She is more than just an animal, she’s our girl, and she means a lot to this family. 

For the last two weeks, Stormy has been home with my parents resting & recovering.

The days after Halloween night, my mom noticed Stormy had been shaking profusely followed up by vomiting. The next day we monitored her closely.. 

Finally Monday night, my parents decided it be best to bring her in, so we checked her into Columbia Animal Hospital & ER at 7pm only to bring her home the following morning at 2am.

We have been given news that she developed an infection which requires her to have her uterus surgically removed to help stop the spread of infection into her stomach. She had her first shot on antibiotics but we are getting ready to prepare her for this surgery. We had been told by both her Vet and the ER Vet that either we get this surgery done, or we will ultimately have to euthanize her. 

I am at no cost going to give up on her.

The surgery total cost is about 5,000.
We are only asking for 2,000 to get the balance zeroed out.

Any residual balance & post op care will be taken care of by our family.

I understand with the uncertainty & covid, not every one has the means to help out.

Anything big or small is greatly appreciated.
