Missions in Africa

Our daughter, Storm Landis, has an opportunity to go to Ghana Africa! This has been a dream of hers since she was a little girl. I remember her talking about Africa since she was seven years old about her desire to spread hope and love to others. As many of you know, she has been a missionary in Mexico for the past six months, working in a pre-school and recently has been asked to teach at the High School as their English teacher. Africa has always been on her heart. She didn't think she would get the chance to go to Africa so soon! She recently received a text from her friend, Annamarie, asking Storm if she would like to go to Ghana with her and share Christ with others. Annamarie is from Ghana originally and was adopted and now lives in the United States. The timing is perfect, because Storm will have this summer off from teaching. The trip is planned for August 4 to 27, 2018. Storm will be going to the city of Sunyani, which is in central Ghana. The two of them will be working in a children's home there and help run a Vacation Bible School program for all of the kids. They will provide activities for the kids to do in their free time, as well. They will also be ministering to teens between the ages of 16 to 19.  Storm plans on visiting a children's home in Northern Ghana called Bolgatonga and share God's love with all the children there.  Please keep her in your prayers!
