Storm Damage Simms Organics

Donation protected
On December 31st and again on January 5th Pescadero Creek flooded into our fields destroying 5 acres of lettuce, spinach, arugula, kale, chard, bok choy, kohlrabi, broccoli and cauliflower. The flooding has forced us to close our January markets.
The storms violent winds have also heavily damaged all 5 of our 100ft hoophouses. While we are very greatful for the much needed rains we are also overwhelmed by the damage and extra work these winter storms have brought to the farm. We are working hard through the breaks to clean up and rebuild. We take pride in bringing fresh organic fruits and vegetables to our customers and our community.
We are asking for your help and support so we can rebuild and come back stronger than ever for the 2023 season.

Love and Appreciation,
Mathieu and Jennifer
