<div>Hello! My name is Megan Pestka. On July 3, 2025, around 4:45 PM, a huge tree crashed down on my brother and sister-in-law's home in Dunellen, NJ. There was a thunderstorm that rolled through the area, and their home is surrounded by beautiful mature trees. One of these trees fell over and landed on the back half of their home, destroying their kitchen and dining room, bathroom, and master bedroom. My brother, Josh, his boys, Jace and Jackson, and my son, Aiden (visiting from out of town), were at the movies, so thankfully not home. My sister-in-law, Karen, was home with their dog, William, and cat, Candy. Thankfully, although in the kitchen, Karen was not injured. William is okay, but Candy is currently missing.
