For 25 years, the September 11th Families’ Association and the 9/11 Tribute Museum have been serving the 9/11 families and community. We share the authentic personal stories of family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders and rescue workers, and residents of the surrounding neighborhoods—stories whose healing journeys embody the perseverance of the human spirit. Through these firsthand accounts, we help people understand the loss and lasting impact of 9/11 while inspiring the power of resilience, recovery, and hope.

"An FDNY Firefighter shared his story from the day of 9/11 when he was working. This was the most impactful tour I have experienced, especially for our students. How many people have been able to hear a personal story from someone involved? Such a rare opportunity that I will always remember!” - Teacher from Texas March 2026

My students were truly moved. This is SO needed, as these kids really know nothing of 9/11. We lived it, but they weren't even born, so for them, it's history. The survivor who shared his story was incredible. The emotion was real, and I think the kids and the adults on the tour were able to understand something that was a powerful shaping moment in our country. Teacher from California June 2026"
