Hi, my name is Steve. I work for the British Heart Foundation. Our next fundraising event is upon us at the BHF.
To support this, myself and my friend Simon Lilly, will be walking to each BHF Home Store in the Southern Area over the weekend of 8th/9th March. These stores are located in, Newport IOW, Portsmouth, Fareham, Chichester, Worthing and Brighton. Approximately 80miles of walking. A real challenge for my feet after what happened on our last fundraising event in October! We raised over £450 in October and hope to hit the £500 mark this time around.
I will start in Newport and meet Simon in Portsmouth. We will then walk 15km to Fareham, then a 32km hike to Chichester where will will rest our heads. An early start on Sunday is required for the next 35km stretch to the Worthing Store, and then the final leg will be 20km to Brighton.
Over 100km over 2 days will certainly test us both.
