Our neighborhood group in San Diego is coming together to protect our beloved coastline from irreversible change. For decades, our community has cherished the natural beauty and open views that make our coastal area so special. Now, we face the threat of a 23-story high-rise building being constructed in a zone where the height limit has long been set at 30 feet. This project would not only alter the skyline but also set a precedent that could impact the character of our city for generations to come.

 The urgency of our situation cannot be overstated. June 30, 2026, is the deadline for the property tenants to vacate, and we have no insight into if or when demolition will begin. This uncertainty has left our neighborhood feeling anxious and determined to act quickly. We believe that with the right legal support, we can challenge this development and uphold the will of San Diegans who, over 50 years ago, voted to protect our coastlines from overdevelopment.
