STOP the LTN's - Fox Lane & Enfield

Donation protected
UPDATE:

Dear Supporters,

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to our fund to help us stop the Fox Lane LTN. We will be instructing our barrister for further advice on legal discrepancies we have discovered and need additional funds to do so. Your help is much appreciated

We’ve set a target of £50,000 in order to fund this challenge and however small, every contribution will take us one step closer to redressing the balance. Help us to achieve our goal.

So far, the money you have donated has been used to:

Create the One Community website - see link below

Distribute regular leaflet updates to affected households inside the LTN area and to those on the boundary and surrounding roads

Instruct our barrister to write the One Community legal objection which can be found in the link below

Instruct our barrister to challenge the Council on the consultation deadline. The Council closed this on 11 July 2021 but we successfully argued that the Council had a legal obligation to keep the consultation open until 11 January 2022. The Council’s update can be found in the link below

Objections must be sent to the Council by e-mail at: [email redacted].uk before 11 January 2022.

Organized the successful protest march on 20 November 2021 which hundreds of you attended to have your voice heard

The One Community Team

We’re One Community - Against Enfield LTN’s formed to raise awareness of the detrimental and damaging impact of Enfield Council’s ill considered Low Traffic Neighborhoods.

So, we’re on a mission to re-unite divided communities, where barriers have forged division. We want to rebalance the wide reaching ripple effect that has seen unprecedented standing traffic around the borough and a disproportionate “offloading” of exhaust emissions onto our neighbors (whilst roads in the dead end LTN’s stand empty).

We also think that every local business deserves the very best in these difficult times, so that’s why we’re campaigning for Enfield Council to adopt a ‘Reverse & Rethink the Enfield LTN’s’ strategy, and reach a “more joined up” approach to future shape of our neighborhoods, towns & borough.
