STOP Amarillo's Overreach Against Business&Persons

On November 23th, 2020, Amarillo bureaucrats voted in an ordinance to fine Potter and Randall county area businesses up to $2,000 if people inside don't have masks. This is a major broadening of the Texas Governors Mandate, so don't be mislead. This will put ALL businesses in hardship and force them to be in the business of mask compliance & enforcement...they don't want to be in this position! We believe, and after discussing with legal counsel, this ordinance is illegal and unconstitutional. Local health officials have access to our sites to ensure compliance. They have the power to enforce compliance, fine, and take legal action against our businesses.
If you are an INDIVIDUAL, a BUSINESS, or a CHURCH (this affects all of us in this community), please consider donating to challenge this illegal and unconstitutional ordinance. 100% of donations (although GoFundMe will charge 1.9% + $0.30 per donation) will be distributed to Houston Attorney Jared Woodfill and his Woodfill Law Firm to file the injunction on behalf of our area. Jared Woodfill is a prominent Texas attorney who is leading the charge in our state of Texas over mask issues with local and state authorities. He is prepared to take this to the Texas Supreme Court. Please donate towards the cause. Every $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, & $100 goes a long way to fight this ridiculous ordinance affecting ALL of Potter and Randalls counties.
