Pacaso Escapes Regulations and Taxes
Pacaso fancies itself a “disrupter,” but the only thing it's disrupting is local residential neighborhoods by turning established homes into virtual hotels – and even without paying transient occupancy tax (TOT) like other short-term lodging.
Pacaso is a Bully
Pacaso is a litigious bully. It sued the city of St. Helena in Napa Valley because St. Helena classifies Pacaso as a timeshare and won’t allow it. It seems as though Pacaso won’t hesitate to sue local municipalities to get its way.
Help Us STOP Pacaso
We believe local communities can challenge Pacaso's morally bankrupt real estate play by uniting together BEFORE Pacaso gets too big and invades quiet residential streets across the country. Pacaso may have buckets of cash to pay lawyers and PR consultants, but our riches – and strength – lie in common decency.
We have hired experts in media to help us reach out to news outlets across California and the nation. We want to spread the story so communities coast to coast can be on the lookout for Pacaso and stop it before it ruins the streets they call home.
Please help us with the cost and consider making a donation. Every little bit counts. Thank you for joining us as we fight to preserve our neighborhood – and, maybe, yours!
