Please donate to stop the deportation of Osime Brown, so he can have the chance to get the love and care he so badly needed. Osime Brown is now aged 21, he is diagnosed Autistic, Dyslexic and he has Depression. He now also has a heart condition. Osime's psychological report concludes him as having a younger mental age which makes him highly vulnerable and easily led.
Having left Jamacia age 4yrs old, Osime has spent his entire life with his family, until social services decided that he needed more freedom.
He was now out of his home, a structured, environment, and into an environment, where he became completely lost.
This compounded his instability, as a 16 year old autistic teen and by moving him, from one residence to the next, over 28 times left him insecure and a target for opportunistic peers.
Due to his vulnerability and disability, Osime was led into the wrong crowd. Accused of stealing a mobile phone and sentenced to 5 years in prison. A witness for the defense, testified that Osime did not take the phone and had actually ask the boys carrying out the street robbery to stop!
When Osime Brown was issued deportation orders, the first thing he did was ask his mother whether there was a bus he could take from Jamaica to visit her in Dudley, Birmingham.
We are grateful to all our supporters and are in need of your on going support to help finance legal help, to prevent this deportation from happening, to help him recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), support him mentally and develop educationally. Osime can and will become an asset to his community and to the only country that he knows.

"The severely autistic 21-year-old is now facing removal to a country that he has neither memory or recollection of.
If our voices have been heard, and he is not deportation, Osime will require a great deal of support, rehabilitation and experts to help him recover the ordeal that he has gone through. He is in need of physical, psychological and emotional help.
We see this as a long journey back to some form of stability for him.

UPDATE ON AUTISTIC MAN, OSIME BROWN'S CAMPAIGN
On 15th June, we notified you of a temporary pause on Osime Brown’s GoFundMe Campaign, due to the main organiser moving on to fulfil other aspects of her life. We are glad to let you know that we now have a new organiser and that the Campaign for justice for Osime continues.
He continues to languish in detention, while his deportation order still stands, until a different decision is reach. We are hoping for a positive outcome with your help. However, even if we are successful, because of his autism and mental health issues and the trauma that he has experienced, Osime will still require a great deal of support.
We continue to be grateful for your concern and support.
