STOP Barneson Boulevard
Donation protected
G’day Darwinians and People who care about saving our local history,
If you, like our Stop Barneson Boulevard Committee of local residents, are appalled by the destruction of “the beautiful ambiance and iconic future” of the Frog Hollow Heritage and Art Precinct, please make a donation.
It is very easy and can be from PayPal or credit card and is a secure link. Even $5 helps us run our adds for another day.
We MUST win this battle and YOU can help now.
Research tells us places of cultural significance enrich people’s lives, often providing a deep and inspirational sense of connection to community and landscape, to the past and to lived experiences.
They are historical records, that are important expressions of Australian identity and experience.
Places of cultural significance reflect the diversity of our communities, telling us about who we are and the past that has formed us and the Australian landscape.
They are irreplaceable and precious. These places of cultural significance must be conserved for present and future generations in accordance with the principle of inter-generational equity.
We want to save this small part of Darwin’s history. Will YOU help us NOW before it’s too late?
Make a donation, no matter how small!

If you haven’t already seen it, this is the fairytale version of the Barneson Boulevard project to help convince you how wonderful it will be.
It doesn’t show you the devastation of Frog Hollow Heritage and Art Precinct. Don’t be fooled about statements that, “ We are conserving Frog Hollow Park”, as this is only about 25% of the entire Precinct AND it will have an elevated, and we are told it will be, a high traffic freeway running all along one side.
