Please support us as we introduce “10 Demands, Not One Less”, peacefully marching for the justice in our country and world -- especially for our Asian American brothers and sisters. Until there is justice, love, and compassion we will not have the peace and unity our world desperately needs. Donations will go towards covering costs related to organizing events, enhancing social media exposure, obtaining quality PA speakers, and strengthening Asian American communities.
We have 10 key demands:
1. End Systemic Racism, Boost Racial Equity. Asian Americans need to be represented 5 times more across ALL industries and social circles than what currently exists.
2. End the war on drugs and decriminalize possession of all drugs. Treat drug abuse as a mental health issue, NOT as a criminal issue.
3. End private prisons and reform the prison-industrial complex. Emphasize rehabilitation, NOT revenge.
4. Reform the education system. Add more Asian American history to all educational books and curriculums, reduce school hours, and focus more on teaching students the history of their local communities and critical skills necessary to survive in the 21st century, NOT on more standardized testing, memorization, and returning to the status quo.
5. More permanent work from home options for parents, teachers and students. Many people want to save the environment, spend more time with family, have medical conditions, or just don’t want the hassle of having to deal with more discrimination and violence in person.
6. Invest more in Asian Americans and minority communities, supporting local businesses, include them as part of your everyday social and personal group, standing up for what’s right, etc.
7. More social and financial support to struggling not-for-profit local businesses, shelters, and kitchen pantries.
8. Popularize 32 hour 4 day work weeks, starting with 50% more social and financial incentives to accelerate this growth.
9. Support Universal Healthcare, starting with creating the nation’s (and possibly the world’s) largest not-for-profit health insurance company.
10. Begin a new era for the Arts, Entrepreneurialism, Humanity, and Multi-planetary space exploration.
