My e-bike was a wonderful early Christmas present, crowdfunded from those closest to me in my life. Even secured with a chain, a U-lock, and GPS tracker, it was gone within 20 mins. I never park it outside but had to that day, and I lost track of time and never got around to moving it back inside where it usually goes. End of the day, I walk to the rack to find the cable cut and the tracker says it just left my lab and is on its way across campus. I jump into my partner's car, who was picking me up, and we drive around the campus to the exact spot it was at 5 mins before it lost connection. They had somehow disconnected the tracker because we certainly couldn’t find it in the bushes where it was last located.

I would greatly appreciate any contributions to a replacement and a better tracker and lock. It has been invaluable for transporting temperature-sensitive samples in the terrible campus Davis heat. Anything will help, thank you!
