STOCKINGS FOR SAILORS 2022

Hi, my name is Collin Arthrell, and I am a 13-year-old with two brothers currently serving in the United States Navy. Every year I send Christmas stockings to a deployed ship from our fleet.

This year I have collected from Military families from all 50 states. This year I have over 600 stockings and separate boxes for feminine care products, over 10 50 lb boxes.

My project has become a massive part of my life, with much meaning to give back to service members who protect us. My oldest brother, Christian, is currently deployed on the USS George H.W. Bush, where this year's stockings will go.

Last week WTAE interviewed me and two local Navy personnel, which aired on November 23. the night was beautiful and made me feel that what I do, makes a difference in the world and hopefully inspires others to help or find their passion.

Even though I am still young, I plan to enlist in the Navy and hopefully become a fighter pilot.

I am reaching out for additional assistance to help ship the packages. The cost of shipping, weight and many other stockings is close to $3,000.
