Restaurant BOOST Gift Card Program

[NOTE: All money raised through GoFundMe goes to support the program. Individual gift cards MUST be purchased separately from each participating restaurant.]

The St. Mary’s County Department of Economic Development in partnership with Visit St. Mary’s MD has initiated a program to support local restaurants in St. Mary’s County facing economic hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Restaurant BOOST Gift Card Program, a gift card investment and value-added program, will support locally owned, locally operated restaurants throughout the County. This program is designed to bring much needed revenue directly to our restaurant partners.



We have made an initial investment to our restaurants, and are now reaching out to the community to help us reach our goal of raising $10,000.


The program is simple - customers purchase a $25 gift card that will be valued at $35 for participating restaurants in St. Mary’s County. This is a great value for current or new customers, provides immediate cash to the restaurant, keeps local restaurants on the minds of our citizens, and provides an easy way for our local residents to give back to the small local business community.


All proceeds will go to the restaurants.

Here is how the program works:

Step 1:

You, a hungry citizen of St. Mary's County, purchases a gift card from the participating restaurant/s of your choice.

Step 2:

For every $25 gift card purchased, you will receive $35 in gift card value!

Step 3:

Use your gift cards (no expiration dates or blackout dates).

Step 4:

Try not to feel guilty for eating every tasty bite!

For families and individuals who may be worried about their wallets, we hope this will also help offset the cost of enjoying takeout for dinner while social distancing at home.
