Stitch was first seen while we were pursuing another rescue of a dog we attempted to help a year ago.  When we saw him we were in tears at his condition!  His mange is as severe as it gets and he was bleeding in multiple locations on his head feet and body.  He is severly underweight and has anemia due to his horrific condition. Over the ensuing weeks Andre and I fed him daily and finally we asked the farmer if we could help him.  Before we were able to capture him (we couldnt get withing 5 feet of him at the time) he wandered into the Waialua Sugar Mill to Island X and that began a group effort to rescue him.  We still dont know who the good samartin is that eventually caught him but here he is!!!  He was brought to Kaaawa K-9 Rescue where they cleaned him up and found his foster mom. He will need medical attention over the coming months during his recovery.  Please donate!! Dr. Shah and Dr. Jill have both assessed him and he is now under the care if Dr. Shah at Mililani Mauka Vet Clinic.  They are working on donating as many services as possble but every bit will help with this guy!  His foster mom Heather is incredible and he is also on a RAW diet from Raw Dog Hawaii!!!  On top of that the Meril Pharma Rep Mike Oshiro is donating all his essential meds for his mange and heartworm treatments - NEXGUARD AND HEARTGUARD! The community coming together to help this little guy has had me in tears all week!!!  Your money will go towards his vet bills, recovery, neutering and more.  All addition proceeds will kept in a Rescue Fund at the Clinic to help them with current and future rescues.
