<div>Alidu lebt in Larabanga in einer wirtschaftlich benachteiligten Region im Norden Ghanas. Das Schiller-Gymnasium Pirna und das BSZ für Gastgewerbe Dresden unterstützen seit einiger Zeit zwei Schulen in dieser Region. Eine davon ist die “Bambenninye Community Basic School” , an der engagierte Lehrkräfte unter äußerst schwierigen Bedingungen ihr Bestes geben, um Kindern eine gerechte und chancengleiche Bildung zu ermöglichen. <strong>Das Schulleiter-Ehepaar finanziert den Betrieb der Schule aus eigener Tasche</strong> und setzt sich seit Jahren für die Kinder des Ortes ein, um ihnen durch Bildung eine bessere Zukunft zu ermöglichen. Viele dieser Kinder sind zudem Waisen.

<div>Ein Sohn der Familie ist <strong>Alidu Hussein,</strong> der nach seinem eigenen Schulabschluß seine Eltern bei der Beschulung als Aushilfslehrer unterstützt. Bisher konnte er sich noch keine eigene Berufsausbildung leisten. <strong>Alidu interessiert sich für Natur und Umwelt und hat einen Traum ...</strong>

<div>Um eine langfristige berufliche Perspektive zu haben, möchte Alidu an der “Tamale Technical University” in Ghana “Natural Ressource Management” studieren. Doch ohne finanzielle Hilfe kann er sein Studium nicht antreten. <strong>Alidu braucht 600 €, </strong>um seine Studien- und Unterkunftskosten für ein Jahr zu decken.<strong> </strong>
