Help us distribute Still Working 9 to 5

The filmmakers of the award winning documentary “Still Working 9 to 5” featuring Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman are looking for fans to help get it into wider distribution.

Women have achieved greater equity in the workplace since the release of “ 9 to 5” in 1980, yet we still don’t have pay equity, are underrepresented in the C suite and on boards of directors, and deal with all forms of harassment. With the documentary, “Still Working 9 to 5”, the filmmakers tell the full story of “9 to 5”, from the inception of the making of the movie, its origins with working women’s advocacy groups with current interviews with Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, and Dabney Colmen (who plays Franklin Hart Jr., aka the boss).

The documentary has received wide acclaim at film festivals including receiving Best Feature Audience Award at the Nashville Film Festival 2022; Best Musical Documentary and Best Score at the Hollywood Music in Movies Awards 2022; and being nominated for Best Historical Documentary at Critics Choice Documentary Awards 2022. Yet, despite demand for wider release, this award-winning film cannot be distributed without purchasing the rights to the archival footage. Please help the filmmakers to do so!

With the 2024 election upon us, let’s generate some noise about working women in the U.S. Help us fund the archival footage clearances so we can get it to the cinemas that are requesting it.
