Josh’s medical fund

Donation protected
Following surgery in early June to remove the remaining germ cell tumor, Josh was diagnosed with a second type of cancer called Desmoplatic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT).  This is an extremely rare form of sarcoma in which only 200-300 people have ever been diagnosed.  Because of the rarity of this cancer he is having to travel to Duke to receive treatment.  He will receive 17 cycles of chemotherapy over the course of the next year.  This cancer also requires that he be monitored through scans for life.  Our insurance deductible restarted 9/1/18 and is a high deductible totally $10,000.  We are also required to pay a provider fee every time Josh sees a doctor either at the office or in the hospital which does not go towards our deductible.  Thank you so much for your contributions.
