Big man, Big O, Big Steve... these are all the names that we like to refer to our friend Steve. Yes, he is a big man... but for us, the big refers to this mans heart. Steve is a doer, giver and lover of all things.....he has a contagious smile and a positive word no matter what the day has brought for him. On August 15th , 2017... the day brought Steve and his family some very scary news. Steve was diagnosed with Advanced Stage Adenocarcinoma/Colon Cancer. Surgery is not an option at this point and they need to start a chemo/radiation combo treatment now. But Steve didn't get scared... because he knew that with the support of his friends and family, he could beat cancer. So being the guy Steve is, later that same day, he was helping a friend move into their new house... because he's a doer, a giver and a lover of all things. Steve Bigelow, his wife Melissa Bigelow and their two boys Jacob (14) & Nicolas (11) were caught completely off guard by this terrible disease. If you know someone that has fought cancer, you know that with it comes tons of medical expenses. Steve needs to start an immediate chemo/radiation combo treatment and will have the first treatment on Sept 5th. Insurance will only cover a fraction of the treatment and after loss of wages... the financial burden can be devastating. Steve, Melissa and their boys Jacob and Nicholas need our help!! Steve and Melissa have done so much for others.. and if you know them personally, I'm pretty sure they've helped you in one way or another. So we're asking that you help us in our fight against cancer. This is Steve's battle and we are the soldiers that are here to fight beside him. Anything you can give this AMAZING family would be greatly greatly appreciated!! We call our group "The Breakfast Club"... not because we all love the movie, although we all do.. but because we all eat breakfast together (well the ones that can make it) every Sunday. Through that tradition we have formed a tight group that is there for each other when the going gets tough. Please help us support the Bigelow's in their battle to kick cancers ass!!
