Steve's Open Heart Surgery/Recovery

My dad went in to have a routine physical for work a few weeks ago and during that visit his P.A. discovered a heart murmur.  He then met with a cardiologist and had a full work up done.  On October 20th he had an angiogram where they found his aortic artery 70% blocked and a valve that needs to be replaced.  He was hoping to be able to have surgery next summer when he'd be off work, but due to the blocked artery his cardiologist wants to perform the procedure soon.  So, he is having open heart surgery where they will do a bypass and valve replacement tomorrow morning, November 3.  It has been a tough year for our family.  To start of this year with mom's brain aneurysm, my sister's brain cancer and now dad's heart...we are trusting in God's provision to get us through it all. My dad will be out of work through the end of the year, so there won't be any income for a while.  We would so appreciate your thoughts, prayers and any financial gifts you feel led to give.  Thank you does not even come close to our gratefulness for lifting up our family!
