Steve's Medical Emegency Miracle
Donation protected
My brother Steve (Stephen) Miller, went to the emergency room on May 31, 2017 with severe back pains. We thought it was kidney stones. After he was taken up for an X-Ray they found he had an abdominal aortic aneurysm. By this time he was in severe pain. They called UW Med Flight to take him to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison with a survival rate of only 10%. I couldn't think of losing my only brother... By 4:30 am on June 1st his surgeon told me he survived the six hour surgery but was in very critical condition. What a great medical team that saved his life! For a week and a half he was induced into a medical coma. After three weeks of one hurdle at a time in intensive care he was transferred to another hospital where he started to talk and breathe on his own with a Trachea. We all witnessed a miracle in this man. After almost nine weeks in the hospital he will be transferred to a Rehabilitation Center to learn how to walk again and build his body strength. Because Steve has lost considerable work time and has limited income to pay the large medical expenses coming in as a result of the severity of his medical emergency, we ask for your kind donations. With your donations Steve will be able to take the time to rehab to where he can go home and return to work.
Thank you so much!
