Our beloved Steve was first diagnosed with his rare condition at the young age of 14. This condition is an airborne strain of Mono that affected his Kidneys.


Since being diagnosed with this condition Steve has undergone one kidney transplant, which he received from his sister Melanie at the age of 15.


Initially the kidney transplant was a success, however the life of the kidney started to dissipate and Steve’s body slowly started to reject the gracious gift that his sister had given to him.

Since being diagnosed and Steve’s first Kidney transplant, Steve has become a husband to his gorgeous wife Bri, The father of two sweet boys Aidyn (who is currently 7 years old) & Keegan (who is currently five years of age.)  Now the beautiful family has begun to foster their Niece, the precious Steilia who is 19 months old. 


As anybody could imagine, this could be a stress on the family financially. For anybody who has ever had loved ones in the hospital for long stays, had to pay for medications just to survive and who is unable to participate in day to day activities because of an illness, I am sure that you could relate.

At times during a struggle it can be very hard to ask for help and you can feel like you do not want to burden friends and family, which is why this page has been created for Steve.

Recently Steve got the news that he was going to be receiving another Kidney and very recently underwent a Kidney Transplant 200 miles away from his family where he will have to stay for monitoring and to heal.

This page has been created to help support Steve’s gorgeous family and to cover the costs of his medical expenses and his stay in Seattle Washington, until he is able to return home to be with his children and his wife.

Steve will be unable to work for up to two years after his most recent transplant.  The family will need to continue to pay for medications and frequent doctors appointments during his time of recovery. Unfortunately insurance does not cover all of these medical expenses. Please join us in Supporting Steve’s recovery and his family during this time.
