WHO HAS TWO THUMBS AND A LIVE KIDNEY DONOR THAT'S A MATCH?! This guy does!!!!
As many of you know, my dad has been fighting end stage renal disease for six years and waiting on the donor list for a kidney transplant. On June 16, 2017 he recieved the call he's been waiting for. There is a live donor available and HE IS THE MATCH! He is headed to Aurora, CO to begin the process for the transplant on July 11th, and the procedure will be taking place July 18th! This is a gift and a blessing that will not only make my dad feel better, but ultimately give him his life back!
Our family is blessed more than ever, but are facing setbacks we were unable to prepare for. Following the procedure, Steven will need to remain in Aurora, CO with the transplant team for an estimated six weeks to ensure the procedure is successful.
This fund will provide housing, transportation, and other essential needs for our dad and our family during his recovery process.
