Steven Wilson Memorial Education Fund

Steven Wilson passed away December 5, 2018. Steve leaves behind a loving wife and two small children. The education of his daughters was very important to Steve. This campaign was established by Theresa Sampson, Steve’s sister, and Leland Sampson, Steve’s brother in law. We started this fundraiser to honor Steve’s memory by raising donations to ensure his daughters never have to worry about school tuition or education expenses.

Steven Wilson passed away December 5, 2018 at age 33, while earning a living for his family. Steve is survived by his wife of four years, Jessica, and their two beautiful daughters.
Steve was born on May 30, 1985 in Annapolis and grew up in Edgewater, Maryland. Steve got his first job when he was 15, working at Popeyes in Edgewater. He later went on to work at Ledo’s Pizza and always had at least one job.
Steve met Jessica, the love of his life, when he was just 23 and have been together ever since. Steve first brought Jessica home to meet the family when she came to Theresa’s high school graduation party. The way he spoke about her, with such love and affection, we were sure they would be together forever.
After graduating from South River High School Steve started working full time for Admiral Tire, a business started by Robert Wilson in 1979. While working, Steve earned an Associates Degree from Anne Arundel Community College, and was working on a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Maryland, University College. Steve started working for Ryan Homes in September, 2017, as a Sales and Marketing Representative tasked with selling new homes.
