Amazing farther to two children, my self 21 years of age and my little brother Joe 7 years of age, and one hell of an amazing husband to my wonderful mother Sharon...
We fount out about my dads brain tumour March 2016, that's when our life changed. Just before that we had a lovely holiday to Thailand for my cousins wedding and we discovered he wasn't feeling great while we were over there, he had a seizure while being in Thailand, at first we thought it was some sort of allergic reaction to some kind of food, for the remaining of the holiday he was fine, until we got back home and he was having 2/3 seizures a day there for we knew something definitely wasn't right, we went to the doctors and the hospital and had tests after tests to the unfortunately find out my dad had a Grade 4 GBM brain tumour, as a family we were devastated but it brought us together as a family and made us all stronger than ever, and we did the fight together, he went under operation and they removed 95% of the tumour which was great, he then went on to have chemo and radiation. My mum has got him on all different sort of tablets and supplements to help with the cancer. He had done so well for 16 months and unfortunately July (2017)the tumour has returned and my dad had started chemo again and they have gave us the news on if they operate this time around it will be to risky and he will be paralysed, so they had said no to operation. We got a second opinion from down London but they also gave us the no to an operation due to being paralysed. After that my dad started a 3rd different chemo  and did three cycles of it but unfortunately on 14th Feb 2018 we got told that the chemo wasn’t working and the tumour has double in size since October 2017. He has now had one more blast of radiotherapy but we are looking for other treatments for my dad to prolong his lift longer than we want, the treatments we are wanting to have will be private and will be thousands of pounds. Every penny is worth it for us.  We have paid for a test to be done on the tumour that will tell us what treatments there are available for him, we are just now waiting for results from that.  As a family we will never give up the fight for my dad as he's the most loving ,caring, bravest, strongest man anyone has ever met. He is making us all so proud of him, a true hero!
