Stephen Hannon’s funeral expenses

Our dear friend and brother Stephen Hannon, (Aka “Flex” and “Uncle”) passed away on July 21, 2018 after an untreated blood infection shut down his entire system. Stephen was fiercely protective of his sisters and would be saddened by the financial burden his passing has caused his loved ones. Stephen was well known for his extraordinary quick wit, his ‘cat that ate the canary’ grin, and his ability to bring laughter to everyone he met. Please look for his obituary coming out August 5th for information regarding Stephen’s Celebration of life. No donation is too small.

I was attempting to not make this about me, but Gofundme has requested that I provide the following information in an effort to be as transparent as possible:
My name is Leslee, (or as Stephen would call me-”Lez”.) I am a childhood, lifelong friend of Stephen and his entire family, but more specifically, his sister Christine is my best friend. All funds raised will go directly to Christine to cover any/all costs that are involved with a funeral/service/flowers etc.. If by some small miracle I raise more then the goal, any excess money will be donated in Stephen’s name to the ALS foundation-just as Stephen would want. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
