We've been trying to adopt a baby for almost 2 years, and finally we got the call we've been waiting for!
We've been chosen as the adoptive parents for a baby due in early April in Colorado!
Unfortunately, the agency fee is higher than we expected... and we're short by $13,000.
We're digging through our change jar and in the couch cushions, hustling at work, investigating adoption loans, and doing everything we can to raise that money. We need the full amount by March 15, 2018.
These funds will cover the agency fee, support for the expectant mother, and legal fees like the Interstate Compact fee so we can bring baby home.
But we don't just want to ask people for money. We want you to be part of our adoption story!
How? By helping us build a special keepsake for baby!
We created a custom 300-piece puzzle showing a sweet poem about adoption that we want to display in the nursery.
Each puzzle piece will have the name of a donor on the back. The goal is to fill up the whole puzzle with donors' names and display the puzzle in a two-sided frame.
By creating this special keepsake puzzle, someday we can show our child the names of all the people who helped us create our forever family.
