Steven Batdorf tragedy fund

Donation protected
In the late afternoon of November 27th, the lives of all the people who loved Steve Badorf changed forever. Steve was coming from a job in Schuylkill County, traveling Rte.
183, when another car crossed over the line into his lane and hit him head on. Steve was pinned behind the wheel and the van he was in went up in flames. Steve died at the scene. His wife Alice, of 28 years, always said Steve was her angel...now he truly is.

Steve came into her life after an unhappy first marriage, he nursed her through breast cancer, heart conditions and other current health issues. He was an amazing dad to their daughter, Brooke, and was one of the most kind, caring, loving men we all have ever met. Steve was in the truest sense a the definition of a "good man."

It is tremendously painful to see Alice cling to Steve's pillow because it "still smells like him." Everyday that passes she asks, "Why... why him?" and we will never know that answer. Their dog Nick still keeps vigil at the door waiting for him to come home.

Unfortunately, to add to the grief, the bills continue to come in... but now there is only one income to cover them. When Steve left for work Monday morning, their lives changed forever. The grief and pain are unbearable in every death, but when the accident is so horrific and unexpected, everyone that watches it unfold feels helpless.

Please know that all of your prayers, love and condolences are essential to the families' healing. If you are reading this, please know you can help Alice focus on grieving and healing by supporting her with a financial donation. It's all that anyone can do...

Thank you for your generosity and know that your donation is immensely appreciated. God bless.

**All funds will go toward paying the bills incurred from the loss of Steve's income.
