Steve Martin's Brain Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Our longtime friend, Steve Martin, recently suffered a serious stroke, and is partially paralyzed on his left side. This was caused by diffuse astrocytoma: brain cancer. The good news is the doctor's found the cause. The bad news is he’s got a big fight in front of him.
The Martins will need help for a long time; from transportation for treatments, assisted care, to getting the house ready for his return.
That’s where you and I come in.
Tobi and Steve had given me permission to help them get the house ready, and to recruit people to get this done. The first phase of construction begins January 15 and includes:
- Construction of an ADA wheelchair ramp
- ADA compliant bathroom
- Handrails
- A special bed
All of this is critical to help Steve become independent, and provide security for the Martins. Your donation of money or volunteering time is a positive way to show your support in this difficult time.
