Stepdad Steve’s cancer journey

Donation protected
Our step dad Steve has been a hardworking man driving trucks all his life, working all over Australia.

Three years ago Steve was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer which came as a huge shock to us all, as we didn't realise that men could get this terrible disease.

Steve has gone through numerous treatments including radiation, chemo, having his lungs drained and hormone treatment. Steve has continued workng and providing for his family so as not to be a burden; but hes getting tired and would like to take a break and see more of Australia.

Medication costs are quite a bit and he'll have to stop for blood tests every 3 weeks. My sisters and I were wondering if we could all take a bit of that pressure off him and give him a hand to cover these costs.

If he's well enough Steve and Mum will stay up north and escape the cold winter of their hometown and hopefully find a bit of work.

Steve's last scans showed that his cancer had spread to his lungs, bones and now his liver, so time is running out.

Steve is not a man to accept charity but I think we can all help a little and make life a bit easier for him. So donate and spread the word. Men do get breast cancer too.
