Steve Walker is a beloved husband to Diana and loving father to Molly, Sam, and Travis. He has recently been diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. In the presence of this great challenge Steve and the family remain hopeful and dedicated to his successful treatment and recovery.
Steve is currently receiving treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, TX by a world-class team of doctors. Diana is by his side every step of the way. She remains steadfast and strong to ensure Steve receives the best care available.
Steve has worked in the West Texas region as a master map maker and land surveyor for 40 years. He has served Brewster County as County Surveyor and continues to operate his own business.
Steve will be exploring alternative treatments and integrative dietary practices and procedures. Supplements, fresh produce, and strong nutrients are a must and come at a high cost.
The family is requesting immediate financial assistance as treatment demands long and frequent travel with indefinite hotel stays far from the family home in Alpine, TX.
Due to the unexpected loss of income and mounting financial burdens, all donations will go to helping Steve and Diana with their expenses as they fully focus on Steve's recovery.
