Steve Svedberg, age 61, of Lansing, Il., passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He is survived by his loving son Eric Svedberg, father Ove (late Mary-Jean) Svedberg, sisters: Sue (Larry) Swanson, Julie (William) Wiesch, Jane (Paul) Berwanger and brother Ron Svedberg. Steve was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his wife Roberta (nee Degasso) Svedberg.
Funeral services for Steve will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, at 1:45 PM, at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Il. Steve will be laid to rest at Oak Glen Cemetery, Lansing, Il., Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Steve was a member of the Chicago Plumbers Union, Local 130. He worked at Calumet City Plumbing for over 20 years. Steve loved the outdoors, he enjoyed grilling, gardening, and camping with family and friends, one of Steve’s favorite spots was Michigan, Upper Peninsula. He was loved and he will be dearly missed.
