I wanted to pass along some sad news regarding one of our beloved former employees and community members: Steve Stahl, our past HR Director, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. Steve came to us in June of 2014, at a volatile time when we were seeking out a permanent CEO and just a head of a rapid growth period. He stepped into the role coming from Virginia Mason and he brought a wealth of knowledge with him. More than his human resources experience and knowledge, he was a mentor and confidant for many of us. We gained the knowledgeable human resource manager that we needed at the time, and the community gained a good hearted and caring person.
Our hearts are with his Partner Jim and all of those that Steve has positively impacted over the last few years. We would like to give an opportunity for CCHS employees to donate to help the family with unexpected financial challenges with Steve's untimely passing. Please donate as you feel comfortable. Our goal is to close donations by Tuesday, November 24.
