On Sunday, July 2, 2017 Steve experienced a life altering fall while visiting with friends in Pennsylvania.
He was awoken early with a calf cramp that he got out of bed to walk off. When he leaned forward to bend down and massage it out, he was too close to the edge of a low porch and tumbled over the edge. The fall resulted in 6 broken vertebrae. He was treated at a Trama Center in Pennsylvania where they repaired the vertebrae. He has been released to a rehab facility to begin his recovery. The journey back to his new normal will be difficult and his career as a Mason will only be achievable through long, strenuous physical therapy.
His wife, LeAnne, will be by his side as he begins the recovery process. With the two of them not working, monthly bills and medical expenses will quickly add up. Any support that you can provide would be greatly appreciated by his family during this trying time.
A meal train will be set up in a week or two when he arrives home from rehab in PA.
