Steve noticed a large lump in his neck earlier this year some time in July/August. After several tests and scans it was found to be cancerous.
This particular cancer is in his lymph and HPV positive, which is highly treatable and curable. The success rate of chemotherapy and radiation is 85-90%. He has good insurance, but the maximum out of pocket costs are very high, and when this is complete he will have been unable to work for about 3 months.
His family downsized their home right off the bat, traded in cars for cheaper models, cancelled monthly subscriptions, etc.
Cancer is an awful disease and hurts so many amazing people, anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated to further ease the financial burden during treatment.
