Steve Kern’s medical bills

Our beloved friends Connie and Steve Kern experienced a life changing incident and need a little support. Connie retired from teaching last year after 31 years of service. Shortly thereafter, Steve suffered a very serious health event - a cerebrovascular accident (4 clots delivered to the base of his brain) due to bilateral embolism of cerebral artieries. He has had surgery since the strokes to correct one of his blocked carotid arteries.He has a right side vision field cut (which essentially means he cannot see out of the right half of each eye). Most cognitive function is returning with therapy. At this time, he is not able to drive or return to work. However, Connie is returning to work to try to cover medical bills. They feel so blessed that he survived and are so thankful for the love and support from family and friends. We are asking for your kind donations to help cover their medical bills.
