Steve Corbin Lung Cancer

Steve was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer 5 years ago. He had a tumor the size of a golf ball and he had surgery to have it removed. In order to remove the tumor, the surgeons also had to remove part of his stomach. Steve used to weigh 275 lbs and now he weighs 155 lbs. Steve went through Chemo and he was able to recover from that cancer and has been cancer free for 5 years. However, now the cancer has returned in both of his lungs. The cancer has spread throughout his lungs and it is stage 4. The doctors do not think they can do chemo this time because they do not think Steve is strong enough to survive it. The doctors are going to do a biopsy to see if any surgery can be done. Since the cancer is stage 4, there is urgency to help raise any funds that we can.  Steve has not been able to work for 5 years since he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer because he has struggled daily with having enough energy and being able to eat since part of his stomach was removed from the previous surgery. Now that the cancer has returned in his lungs, we are asking for any financial help that can be provided for his wife and his two daughters and his three grandchildren. Steve's wife Tabitha is the sole provider for their family and she is a hairdresser. Steve and Tabitha also have their 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren that live with them. Tabitha is the sole provider for all of them. As you know, cancer is a horrible disease and their are a lot of medical expenses that insurance does not cover. Steve is a very proud man, before the cancer he worked every day of his life. He would never ask for help from anyone, so that is why as his brother in law I am asking for him. Our goal for Steve is to raise $5,000.00 and all the money raised will go to Steve and his wife to help pay for their medical expenses and other expenses since Steve can not work and Tabitha is having to take time off of work to take care of Steve during this difficult time.
