<div>Wie zijn wij? Wij zijn Team Velox. Wij zijn een multidisciplinair team van meer dan 20 studenten en wij zijn het allereerste team uit Nederland dat deelneemt aan de wereldwijde SuMoth Challenge. Onze gedeelde passie is de watersport en de verduurzaming van de maritieme sector.

<div>Wat is ons doel? Vorig jaar hebben we ons succesvol gericht op de ontwerpfase. Nu staan we voor onze grootste uitdaging tot nu toe: het daadwerkelijk bouwen van onze boot. Onze missie is het ontwerpen, bouwen en racen van een 'hydrofoiling Moth' (een vliegende zeilboot). De strikte voorwaarde van de competitie maakt dit project uniek: traditionele, energie-intensieve composieten zijn verboden. Wij bouwen uitsluitend volgens circulaire ontwerpprincipes.

<div>Waarom hebben we uw steun nodig? De overstap van de tekentafel naar het water is complex en kostbaar. Om te bewijzen dat de maritieme sector zowel topprestaties kan leveren als milieuvriendelijk kan zijn, hebben we materialen, gereedschappen en expertise nodig.
