<div>Hallo! Ik ben Duco van den Berg, 18 jaar oud, en ik sta aan de start van een avontuur dat mijn leven zal veranderen. Op 2 oktober 2025 vertrek ik naar Noorwegen om deel te nemen aan de Discipleship Training School (DTS) van Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Grimerud.

<div>Een DTS is een zes maanden durend programma waarin je je relatie met God verdiept, je identiteit ontdekt en leert hoe je Zijn liefde kunt delen met anderen. De eerste drie maanden, de lesfase, vinden plaats in Grimerud, een prachtige locatie in het Noorse landschap. De laatste twee maanden, de outreachfase, zullen we in een ander land doorbrengen om in de praktijk te brengen wat we hebben geleerd.

<div>Tijdens deze DTS heb ik gekozen voor de Worship &amp; Prayer track. Deze track richt zich op het verdiepen van je relatie met God door middel van aanbidding en gebed. Het biedt de kans om je gaven te ontwikkelen en te leren hoe je anderen kunt leiden in aanbidding en gebed. Ik kijk ernaar uit om mijn passie voor muziek (dmv gitaar en zang) en aanbidding verder te ontdekken en toe te passen in mijn dagelijks leven en in mijn bediening. Deze ervaring zal mij helpen om mijn roeping te begrijpen en te vervullen.

<div>De totale kosten voor de DTS bedragen ongeveer €7500. Dit dekt lesgeld, accommodatie, maaltijden, outreachkosten en reis. Ik heb al een deel gespaard, maar ik ben afhankelijk van gebed en financiële steun om het volledige bedrag bij elkaar te krijgen.

<div>De afgelopen jaren voel ik een diepe roeping om Gods liefde te delen met anderen. De DTS biedt mij de kans om mijn geloof te verdiepen, mijn talenten te ontdekken en een verschil te maken in de wereld. Ik geloof dat deze ervaring mij zal vormen voor de toekomst en dat ik, gewapend met kennis, passie en geloof, een positieve impact kan hebben op de samenleving.
