Samen met ons team van juristen en vrijwilligers komen we in actie om ervoor te zorgen dat Chemours geen PFAS meer mag lozen. <strong>EcoJustice*</strong> tekent daarom juridisch bezwaar aan tegen nieuwe lozingsvergunningen, want zolang Chemours onze leefomgeving blijft vervuilen, vechten wij namens alle door PFAS gedupeerden terug!

<div>PFAS is de verzamelnaam voor een groep ‘forever chemicals’ die gebruikt worden in de industrie door bedrijven als Chemours, en die schadelijk zijn voor onze gezondheid. De stoffen zijn door de mens gemaakt en niet of nauwelijks afbreekbaar in de natuur. Hierdoor hopen de stoffen zich op in de lichamen van mens en dier. Uit onderzoek van het RIVM (2021) blijkt dat veel Nederlanders alleen al via ons eten en drinken boven de veilige grenswaarde zitten, met alle gezondheidsrisico’s van dien. Ondertussen probeert Chemours nieuwe vergunningen te krijgen om nóg meer PFAS te lozen.

<div>Juridische actie is nú nodig om ervoor te zorgen dat de overheid geen nieuwe vergunningen aan Chemours verleent om onze leefomgeving met PFAS te vervuilen.
