I'm a college student studying Psychology and working two part time jobs both of which I am absolutely devoted to. One at the YMCA working with Children of all ages and I also am an apprentice dog behaviorist.


I'm a very active and outdoorsy person and maintain a pretty healthy lifestyle so a few months ago when I was diagnosed with appendicitis after 3 days of being bedridden I was devastated. I was told I needed to be admitted and undergo an emergency surgical procedure on the night of my mother's 45th birthday. Not at all what I had in mind!

Thankfully the surgery was a success and I am still here today by God's grace.

Nowadays I spend my time working endlessly instead of focusing on school so I can pay the medical bills that the insurance wasn't able to cover and it adds up. Unfortunately there aren't enough hours in the day or I'd be working more than I do already. My jobs don't pay nearly enough and I am having to put studying off to the side.

My sister reminded me about gofundme and how it helped our relatives across the nation when our cousin needed financial aid which our family also donated to.

I never saw any of this coming and it's unfair but it's life and I am taking it a day at a time now. My goal here is to raise $8,000 which will go toward the medical bills.
