Stephen Carpenter, Dark Follies’ music director, talented musician, carpenter, friend, beloved father, and person of generous heart was struck by a motor vehicle while out running on July 30th. He was rushed to Maine Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
He has always been there to lend an hand, share his knowledge, and extend his friendship. He has touched so many in the music and dance world and now he needs our help.
We are organizing a benefit on his behalf on August 21st at Mayo Street Arts in Portland, Maine, to aid with his medical bills and lost wages. However, several folks who are unable to attend have asked how they might still be able to help. For those who can't make it or who just want contribute a bit more we have established this page. Whether you can give $5 or $500 every little bit helps.
