We have been profoundly overwhelmed by the loving support that you have given these past days. Your emotional and financial supports have been amazing. Our hearts are full of thankfulness.
While we have met the expenses of getting Stephanie to the mainland, we are expecting a very long rehabilitation once she has undergone her surgery. Insurance will cover some of her expenses there, but not all. Mike will likely be with her for months while away from his work. For that reason we are raising the goal to $200,000. My name is Carlie Corbett, I am Stephanies niece. She is also my neighbor here in Hawaii, boss and close friend. The money that is being raised will go directly to Mike Becher (her husband) He will then use the funds to help pay for Stephanies transport to the mainland, help cover other medical expenses insurance wont cover and living expenses.
