“On Sunday, my wife and I were on a bike ride when she lost control of her bike and slid into the other lane and was hit by a car. They tried to air care her to UC, but she suffered too much trauma and there was nothing they could do for her.

Please keep me, Alex and the boys in your thoughts and prayers as we try to survive in the wake of this tragedy.” -Rod Vesper

The world lost a special person on May 5th 2019. Stephanie Vesper was a friend, mother, cyclist, free spirit, loving, caring and smiling person that brought happiness to any room or ride.

Stephanie has touched so many lives during her brief time on this earth.

Find space in your mind to continue smiling and loving Stephanie.  Hold those memories tight... <3

'A tribute to Stephanie. How does one write a tribute adequate enough to honor an amazing person like Stephanie!?

"Words are hard." - Stephanie Vesper

She said so herself. But she always found the right words, the most honest words, and sometimes the most complicated but appropriate words to say. She was so intelligent and insightful... sometimes so much so that I'd have to ask her for a translation. We'd get a good laugh about that.

Stephanie was always up for an adventure. The weirder, the better. We always had the best of times doing things grown women probably shouldn't. And we'd take pictures of our shenanigans- even though she wasn't initially a fan of all my picture taking. She insisted that her head looked big next to mine when we'd get close for a selfie. For the record, her head was normal in size. But! It was something fun we had between us and we could have a good laugh about it.

Stephanie was truly one of a kind. She was a bright light in my life. I am one of the luckiest people in the world to have known her and spent time with her. She was loud, gave the tightest hugs, and always wrecked my dieting attempts with her delicious homemade treats. She was my "Wednesday Friend" and my sounding board. She was so much, and I love her. I'm grateful she deemed me worthy of her love too. ❤❤❤' - Heather Farrell

I have no clue how to quantify and put the loss of Stephanie's life into a value or a campaign goal.

Please give within your heart to help fill the hole that is left from Stephanie’s passing --- her family will forever be grateful.

With tears, a hug, and all of our love --- your family and friends...
