As some of you are aware 7 years ago I was diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy. I had and prescribed medication that helps with the symptoms for the past couple years. Within the last six months I have had some complications. This is when I switched to a new cardiologist and even though he went along with my diagnosisof postpartum Cardiomyopathy he order test that I had not gotten ordered in the last seven years, cardiac MRI, stress test, Holter monitor, and new medication. Now I know my cousin working there what sometimes a tough situation for her because I would call her and say Carly something is not right I don't feel right. On Monday, September 25, 2017 I went for my stress test and I instantly failed. The concernon Dr.munshi face was pure fright. He wanted can you schedule me for a heart Catherizaton the next day but was full, so it was scheduled to be done the following Tuesday. He had called me that night at 9 PM was concerned and wanted me to start a medication ASAP. So I did and the next two days my blood pressure kept going up and I had a headache that was like no other. Going through the day rooming patients in being a nurse was the biggest struggle I had went through those two days. I'm Wednesday midmorning while rooming a patient I had to quickly stop what I was doing as earlier that morning I had had slight chest pain and dizziness , well at that point it became to much and I almost started to pass out in the room with the pt. I ran out into the provider I work for office and sat down in fear couldn't breath chest pain shortness of breath and dizziness and couldn't sit or stand with out wanting to instant pass out. One of my co workers brought me into the room along with my provider who I work for and I ended up going into SINUS VENTRICUlAR TACHYCARDIA that I have never done before. Blood pressure was out of the world for me and pulse was 214. So my co worker brought me into ER and I instantly got admitted. Now Thursday morning would change my life forever!!! I went in for my hearth catherization scared as heck not knowing what they were going to find..... well come to find out they DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY FOUND!!! They said we have never seen this before! We don't know what to do!!! We want a CT angio of the heart ASAP, well once again my heart anantomy being so abnormal it was unsuccessful.. I had to get a pic line put in so they could infuse the contrast faster than normal and get an idea of how to even fix me! Dr. Green who is a very WEll known cardiac surgeon ontop of my awesome cardiac team and my doctors I work for at work are all trying to figure out what is this!?!? So I had another CT angio done yesterday and thankfully out of prayer it was succefull!!! Now my diagnosis is called ALCAPA ( anomalous Left Coronary Artery From the Pulmonary Artery. It's easier for people to google it than me write a book below but I SHOULD BE DEAD!!! I shouldn't have made it past the age of 5! They have no idea how I'm alive or how I had kids and didn't die! Am I thankful they found this, absolutely!! Am I scared absolutely! But most of all he tells me not to stress but now I have no known date to return to work and no Income to pay my car payment and insurance and Christmas is coming and my co pays will be starting in affect because my insurance will be switching and i will need to follow up with the specialist and primary and I don't know how I'm gonna do all this... as I sit here each day I try to come up with ways to fulfill the cardiologist orders and main bills and I haven't come up with a thing.. people have told me to make a go fund me page and I hope this isn't out of line and I wouldn't be doing it if I could juggle everything myself but I can't and try to not hurt myself more...
