Many of you know that my sister, Stephanie Brennan, passed away on October 4, 2017. She was only 30 years old. We are absolutely devestated and heartbroken.
It is very hard for me to ask for help, but I’m feeling very overwhelmed. My mom and Stephanie lived together and finances should not have to be another form of stress for my mom and family right now.
Many of you have asked how you can help. If you are willing to contribute to financially to help with my sister’s expenses and help my mom during this stressful time, I would greatly appreciate it.
We will also be hosting a gathering after Stephanie’s memorial this Saturday, October 21. If you prefer to help out by bringing a dish rather than donating money, we would also appreciate it. Please message me for information about the gathering as I don’t want to list the address publicly.
A little bit about Stephanie: She was kind to everyone she met and was always willing to help. She worked at a domestic violence shelter for several years and was going to school for a degree in American Sign Language. She loved to write, paint, and make crafts. Last April, she did the Pat Tillman race, her first race, and she had hopes of doing many more and being able to contribute to causes she cared about.
